Voluntary support

Bifac is an independent creative project operated by Michał Malik in Poland. Payments are received by Michał Malik through Stripe. Contributions are voluntary tips for our published films and support ongoing production. They are not charitable donations and do not purchase exclusive content or a guaranteed production schedule.

Monthly support and refunds

Monthly support renews at the amount shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancel future renewals through the Stripe customer portal or contact michal@sitessmith.com. Contact michal@sitessmith.com for payment errors or refund requests. Payments are charged in USD; your bank may apply currency conversion charges. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Your information

Stripe processes payments and billing information. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores operational records. We retain necessary payment references, amount, currency, status and subscription records for support and accounting; we do not store card numbers. Contact michal@sitessmith.com to request access, correction or deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.

Administrator access uses Auth0. Production and operator notifications may use OpenAI, ElevenLabs and Postmark; supporter payment information is not sent to the film-generation models. Necessary session cookies protect administrator login. The public site does not use advertising cookies.

Our films

Films are AI-assisted adaptations of Bible passages in plain English, with scripture references, followed by a short editorial application. Illustrations, simplified dialogue and the application are not presented as historical recordings or additional scripture. The films offer general encouragement only; they are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

Film attribution

A code in a film link (bifac.sitessmith.com/r/…) or a profile link (for example bifac.sitessmith.com/yt) lets us attribute support to that film or platform. We count page visits without advertising cookies, fingerprinting or storing IP addresses in our analytics database. Visits are not unique-person counts. The film code or platform accompanies the Stripe payment and any subscription renewals; refunds reduce the recorded support. Visits from other links or devices may remain unattributed. When a payment came without such a link, the thank-you page may ask the optional question "Where did you find Bifac?". If you answer, the answer (for example "YouTube" or "a friend") is stored with the payment record in our database and is not sent to Stripe; it is used only to understand which platforms bring support.
